Today was our first day in Iringa!  After a delicious breakfast of eggs, juice and toast, we walked over to the Iringa Diocese offices for our orientation.   We heard from several department heads about all the good things happening, such as education,  youth programs, building projects and mission.  The department of mission and evangelism showed us a photo of truck with a sound system that they hope to purchase.

We took a tour of the grounds to see the work of the affiliates. Millions of Trees proves seedlings of pine, avocado, eucalyptus and papaya to help repair deforestation and provide food and income.  We also saw the radio station facilities and saw a couple of their sports reporters at work!

Next on the agenda was shopping and lunch!  We saw the market, had lunch at Neema crafts and visited the bookstore Soma Biblia to pick up and order of books.

Dinner was on the terrace of the Sunset Hotel, which is aptly named!
