Prince of Peace has offered to have a door attendant on Fridays and Sunday when CCB (Spanish congregation) meets. They are very thankful for our willingness to provide observers/door attendants to be an extra pairs of eyes when they are here on Fridays (rehearsal) and Sundays (worship). Please consider helping when you can.

Join PoP’s volunteer team on Saturday, April 25 from 10am-Noon, where, along hundreds of other volunteers, we’ll pack meals for and help them reach their goal of packing 750,000 meals over a 4-day period. No special skills are required and work can be done by folks with all kinds of abilities. The minimum age for volunteering is 5 and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
LifeHaven Transitional Living provides short-term transitional housing for young women, ages 16 and 17 and their children, who are experiencing homelessness. We offer a safe place where the mothers can work on life skills and develop a plan that will lead them toward stability for themselves and their children. Make a positive impact on mothers and their children by donating your time and skills to make a meal for them!
Every Meal facilitates a partnership between community organizations and schools. Sponsors partner directly with a specific school and donate towards the cost of the program. They also typically volunteer in the school each week to distribute the food to the kids. The food is distributed discreetly, typically into the kids’ backpacks while they aren’t in the halls.
