On July 3 – 4 leaders from the South District of the Iringa Diocese in Tanzania (where our companion congregations of Bomalang’ombe and Vikongwa are located) will have the chance to attend the Day of Grace in Iringa.  The Day of Grace was started by former Prince of Peace members Tom and Beth Hanson and is a time of care that is provided at no cost to the attendees.  Attendees will arrive in Iringa and first be treated to dinner and a program, featuring a presentation by Iringa Diocese BKB director Pastor Msigwa on the importance of rest and personal care.  On the second day they will all receive medical checkups and have additional time for fellowship and connection with their fellow leaders in ministry.

Registered from Bomalang’ombe are Pastor Lutango Tewele and wife Rehema Mhagama, Pastor Hongera Mwelela and wife Joyce Kivamba, Mariam Luhwageo (the widow of the late Pastor Simon Msula), Pastor Naboth Chaula and wife Yustina Chaula, and Treasurer Benito Mbungu and wife Conjetha Sanga.

Registered from Vikongwa are Pastor Victory Mdegela with wife Lilian Lyamuya and Treasurer Diana Mpinge and husband Ezekiel Mage.

Pastor Peter sent a letter of friendship and encouragement that will be translated and presented to these leaders in ministry during their time in Iringa.

Please keep these servants of God in your prayers for safe travels to and from their homes, and that this time will be a blessing of rest and renewal for all of them.

Asante sana!
