Sunday, May 27 will be Pastor Lynn Erickson’s last Sunday with Prince of Peace. Even though Pastor Lynn joined us in March of 2017 to serve as our part-time Interim Pastor for Congregational Care, her efforts were hardly partial and her impact will not be temporary.
We are convening a study of the ELCA Draft Social Statement on Women and Justice in May and June. An introduction to the draft will be presented on May 13 and four weekly group study sessions will follow.
The OK’s meet on Thursday, May 10, to enjoy “Around the World Music,” presented by Rob Everest, a graduate of our Roseville Area High School and a South American/Spain and Portugal traveler. He will entertain with his 7-string guitar. Join us at 11:30 for good fellowship, great food, and wonderful entertainment.
Prince of Peace has completed the first 4 of our 7 assigned days to work on the 2018 Habitat house at 717 Geranium in St. Paul. We began on April 16, the day after the snowstorm by shoveling snow. As of last evening, May 1, the house is up. Check out these photos of the progress.
