May Adult Forums
For Adult Forum, the social concerns committee and adult education committee will be hosting a discussion of the book Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond, on Sundays, May 5 and 12. The book tells the life stories of eight families in Milwaukee who live in poverty and strive to keep a roof over their heads, and the stories of their two landlords.
April Adult Forums
The Adult Forum will not meet Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. The Forum will return April 28 with Pastor Justin Grimm, Director for Evangelical Mission and Next Generation Ministries for the Saint Paul Synod. Bring your coffee and your curiosity along on Sunday mornings between worship services.
Adult Forum Classes for January
Adult Forums in January will include topics on the Gospel of Matthew and the Beatitudes, and the Lord’s Prayer. Meet at 9:40, between the services, in the reception room.
Adult Forum Classes for December
Adult Forums in December –Topics cover the book of Esther and its significance today, and a musical forum setting Isaiah to music. Meets at 9:40 a.m., Sundays in the reception room. Enjoy the Christmas Café on Dec. 23. Adult Forum will return in January.
