Adult Forum meets at 9:40am each Sunday morning.

April 7—During Lent we have been exploring a few characteristics of God and how they may be lived by people of faith. This week we look at Judgment. Judgment can be a scary thought.  How can we understand “judgment” as a character of a loving and gracious God?  Carol Swanson will lead us in this exploration.

April 14—Palm Sunday: At 9:40 a.m., please join us for a Youth Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall.

April 21—Easter: no Adult Forum  Please join us for the Easter services at the regular service times of 8:30 and 10:45 a.m.

April 28—Pastor Justin Grimm, Director for Evangelical Mission and Next Generation Ministries for the Saint Paul Synod, will join us to talk about his work and reflect on Matthew 28:16-20.

May 5 and 12—The social concerns committee and adult education committee invite you to a discussion of the book  Evicted, Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond on Sundays May 5 and 12. Books are available for purchase in narthex for $13.00, during April.

Evicted tells the life stories of eight families in Milwaukee who live in poverty and strive to keep a roof over their heads, and the stories of their two landlords. One reviewer wrote, “Evicted is astonishing — a masterpiece of writing and research that fills a tremendous gap in our understanding of poverty.”

Books are available in narthex for $13.00.
