As part of our Thanksgiving Eve service on November 25, a slideshow will feature images conveying what Prince of Peace members are especially thankful for. This is where you come in! You’re invited to submit one or two photos to be included in this slideshow. Please submit them electronically to erikawarkentien@gmail.com no later than November 15.
Thanksgiving Offering
Our Thanksgiving offerings will be directed to Keystone Community Services. The vision of Keystone is: “Individuals, youth, families and seniors in our community have the resources and skills they need to live with hope and dignity.” Your donation can help them achieve this vision!
During our worship service, we will bring our offerings of food shelf items and/or monetary donations forward and place them on the tables in the front of the sanctuary. Here is a list of Keystone’s most needed items:
- Cereal
- Canned fruit
- Peanut butter
- Pasta
- Quick to prepare meals
- Canned meat and proteins (i.e. tuna, hearty stews, chicken, etc.)
- Cooking staples (i.e. flour, sugar, cooking oil, etc.)
- Culturally specific items (i.e. soy sauce, fish sauce, masa, etc.)
- Baby care items (baby food, formula, wipes, diapers, etc.)
- Hygiene items (Deodorant, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, feminine care items, etc.)
O give thanks to the Lord for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever.
Psalm 136:1
