It’s hard to say goodbye!  This morning we bid a fond farewell to our friends in Bomalang’ombe.

The meals have been prepared in the new kitchen area, using propane as an upgrade from wood.  The delicious breakfast included maandazi, chapati, potatoes and chicken in broth.

We exchanged gifts, expressed our mutual thanks, sang and prayed.  A final group photo and it was time to head back to Iringa.  Lots of road construction along the way, including some beautiful new sidewalks.

After lunch of spaghetti bolognese at the Luthern Center we had a chance to relax and clean up.

Dinner was at the lovely Sai Villa.

Tomorrow we head out to Ruaha National Park.  Network access can be spotty so it might be a few days before the post.
