We left Vikongwa today.  Last night we had a chance to pass out thank you gifts for the cooks and leaders who did such a good job of making us comfortable and well fed.  We got some snapshots of a few of them this morning, along with a picture of our breakfast feast that included maandazi, potatoes, chapati, chicken soup and hard boiled eggs.  We said our last farewells and Pastor Mdegela said that saying goodbyes just means that you are getting ready to plan for the next visit.  That sounds like a great idea to us!

Along the way home we stopped at Ihimbo to visit the Kinganga family.  We are godparents to his daughter, Trifaina.  Trifaina just finished Form VI, passed her exams and will shortly begin her University studies in Accounting.  We visited their church, a dispensary, and a new mobile milling machine that will help members get a better profit from their trees by creating boards.  The machine was a gift from a Swedish mission.  After a delicious lunch we headed back to Iringa.  We have one final day in Iringa before the long drive back to Dar es Salaam.
