PoP’s new volunteers from Kaposia, a volunteer group of developmentally disabled adults, visit Friday mornings to straighten the sanctuary, check the kids’ activity bags and help with other projects.

The Promise is fulfilled! Christmas Eve services at Prince of Peace begin at 3 p.m. with a family friendly and child-focused message (Crayons are available for the bulletin coloring pages). Strings, oboe and organ are featured in the 4:30 service. At the 10:30 service, join the Chancel Choir and members celebrating the birth of the Christ Child.

In this Advent season, we hear the words of the prophets pointing us to another revelation and the rainbow-colored promise will reveal something is being made new yet again.  God is pushing back against the darkness that wants to overtake us.  Come to this community of faith this December, so that together, waiting for the promised, we might live in hope for the savior to come.

Adult Forums in December –Topics cover the book of Esther and its significance today, and a musical forum setting Isaiah to music. Meets at 9:40 a.m., Sundays in the reception room. Enjoy the Christmas Café on Dec. 23. Adult Forum will return in January.

Women’s Circles in December

Women’s Circles in December

Join any of our four women’s bible study circles for spiritual growth, as well as being a part of a group which encourages and supports each other. In December each women’s bible study circle is planning their own event. The theme “Fear not, God is at work beyond our ability to imagine.” All women are invited to participate.
