Sunday, December 18 @ 8:30am & 10:45am

On this 4th Sunday of Advent, we will lean in closely and listen to God’s story. The despair, danger, darkness, and doubt cannot overcome the true light of delight that is on its way. We’ll revisit the words of the prophets, who foretold of the fulfillment of God’s promises and helped make a way for God’s breaking into the world, under a star-filled sky.

Both services will feature…

  • An anthem and congregational hymns led by the voices of the Chancel Choir, under the direction of Kathy Tunseth, and joined by a collection of “Seasonal Singers;”
  • Special piano & organ prelude and postlude offered by Debbie Jorgens and Dan Ritter;
  • The debut performances of an original piece written by PoP members Ruth Hagander and Mary Palumbo;
  • Echoing the angel choir, an anthem from The Bells of Peace;
  • A string ensemble, under the direction of Milt Warkentien, accompanying our congregation’s song throughout worship this morning.

    We hope you will join us, in-person or watching the live-stream!

    And join us between services for the Christmas Café in the Celebration Hall!

    • Enjoy connecting over coffee and special treats;
    • Be entertained by a variety of holiday-themed musical offerings;
