Many, many thanks to all who contributed to the success of our Tanzania dinner – whether through your time, talents, attendance or financial resources! Our annual dinner raises funds to support our partnership with the congregations of Bomalang’ombe and Vikongwa in the Iringa Diocese in Tanzania.  Most of the funds go towards scholarships for secondary school students – an average scholarship is $450 per year, and over the 20+ years of our partnership we have helped provide education for over 140 students!  We also use extra funds raised to support an equity fund that gives scholarships to students at unpartnered parishes, post-secondary school scholarships, Christmas gifts to our two parishes and other congregational projects.

As of the dinner, we are just under $12,000 – very close to our $12,500 goal!

If you’d still like to contribute, you can write ‘Tanzania’ on your check or envelope, or make a gift online by selecting ‘Tanzania Mission’.

Your support of this life-giving ministry is greatly appreciated!
