A whirlwind day of preaching points!  We started with Nyamatonga which is the most remote and high up in the hills.  The view is incredible and the greeting was joyous!  After our I trusted and presentations we visited the evangelists house.  Since we last visited, they used some of the funds from Prince of Peace to create closed ceiling so that the house is much warmer.  The soccer ball was a hit with all ages!

Ilole was next.  The singing and dancing, especially the children, is exuberant!  Evangelist Zaina also holds several leadership positions in the congregation and the district.

We then had a chance to meet with the Iringa Hope leaders for the SACCOS (micro finance) and AMCOS (agricultural cooperative).  They shared their status reports and told stories of Iringa Hope’s impact.  In 2022 they received an award for being especially well run.  They gifted us with 2 batiks.  We had a chance to interview 4 members on video to help give Iringa Hope some material they can use in promotional videos.

Before heading out to the afternoon’s preaching points we walked over to the land the church has purchased to build a new modern church.  They also have plans to purchase the house next to the land for expansion.  The evangelist for Bomalang’ombe also has a house next store so visited there as well.

In the afternoon we visited 2 more preaching points. Mangalali is the newest.  They are building a more solid temporary church, but hope to expand it later. They have big plans and all the members are helping with construction.

The final preaching point was Mwanzala.  Once again, lots of excellent singing and dancing and joy!  Their young evangelist is very enthusiastic and was one of the Iringa Hope members we interviewed.

Tomorrow we worship and have several meetings scheduled.  The time is going very fast!
