A huge ASANTE SANA (thank you very much) to everyone who helped with the Ice Cream Social and who has made donations to support gifts for the upcoming Tanzania trip to visit our partners in Bomalang’ombe and Vikongwa. We enjoyed fellowship, signed cards for our sponsored students and preaching points, and raised over $3600! We will be able to use those funds to help provide gifts such as transportation at our newest parish, rice for Huruma Center Children’s home, soccer balls and education materials for preaching points and other needs that we identify once we are on the ground in Tanzania.
We have a table in the narthex with the cards for additional signatures. A special ‘thank you’ to the creators of these beautiful cards! Linda Olson created our student cards, and Lenore Bleifuss and Anne Haugan created the preaching point cards.
In addition, thanks go to Debbie Jorgens and Anne Haugan for providing toppings, Debbie Jorgens, Roger Hintze and Lea Thornton for serving, Dan Wagner for taking photos and Kathy Tunseth, Anne Haugan and Lea Thornton for helping with cleanup!
As always, we are amazed and grateful for all the ways that Prince of Peace loves and supports our brothers and sisters in Tanzania!
