The Prince of Peace interim use permit application is under consideration by the Roseville Planning Commission on Wednesday, July 5. They will make recommendations to the Roseville City Council at the Council meeting on Monday, July 24. We have addressed all the issues that have been raised by the City Council in prior meetings. Visitors are encouraged to attend these meetings to show support for the work that we have done.
The Affordable Housing Team has asked Cecile Bedor and her colleague, Heidi, to attend the next Campus Planning Task Force meeting scheduled for July 10 at 6:30 pm at the Church. They are from Common Bond, a developer of affordable housing. They will provide information about their work, talk about the possibility of a development on our south property. They will also be available to answer questions.
One goal that is important is for us to gather as much information as possible about several possibilities for ministry. We continue gathering information to make plans to bring to the congregation for consideration. Your encouragement in this process is important. Please try to become informed yourself. Talk to any of the Task Force members. Pray for Prince of Peace and the journey we are on to “do justice; love kindness; and, walk humbly with our God.”
