Last Friday, we featured the first in a series of stories from Prince of Peace members, telling how they multiplied the talents they were given for the “Investing for Good” initiative. Today we hear from Roger Hintze.

I’m a “standardized patient” at the University of Minnesota Medical School, for which I am paid. I used the $20 that I was given for Investing for Good to cover gas and parking at the U one afternoon, having decided to donate the pay I would receive to this initiative. That particular day, I portrayed a diabetic patient with an ulcer on my foot. Student nurses were being trained to deal with the wound and determine an amount of insulin to inject into the patient.

Roger multiplied his talent by nearly five times, designating the money to Huruma Center and Iringa Hope, two organizations he is passionate about – especially after having traveled to Iringa, Tanzania in 2017 with others from Prince of Peace.
