Greetings from the Personnel Committee:
We have difficult news to share. Our Office Administrator, Kristin Bloxham, has resigned and will be taking a similar position at another church. This new position will allow her to spend more time with her family and share her amazing skills with another congregation. Even though it will be difficult to replace her, we are excited for this new chapter in her life. Her last day will be Monday, April 20.
Please know that the Personnel Committee and Church Council are working hard to fill this position and are looking at the best way to do that so we do not put a burden on our existing staff. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact me or anyone on Personnel or Arjun Sethi, Council President.
Please join us also on Sunday, April 19th, after 10:45am worship for a farewell reception for Kristin and her family. More information will be provided in this Friday’s email.
Please pray for us in this transition and for all those lives who Kristin has touched. God for sure will not leave us alone in this time of need. Please see Kristin’s resignation letter below:
To the Prince of Peace Community,
With a full and grateful heart, I share that I will be stepping away from my role as Office Administrator at Prince of Peace effective Monday, April 20, 2026. Serving this community for nearly six years has been a profound gift. During this time, I have experienced a congregation rooted in love, generosity, and deep care for one another. It has been a true joy and honor to walk alongside you in ministry, worship, and daily life.
I am especially grateful for the relationships that have shaped my time here. Working alongside Alyssa, Julene, Milt, Kathy, Caryn, Dan, and so many others has been an incredible blessing. Their partnership, wisdom, and friendship have meant more to me than I can fully express. I have learned so much from them and from all of you.
This community has both nurtured and challenged me, helping me grow in ways I will carry forward as I move on to serve another congregation. While I look ahead with a sense of excitement, I will deeply miss this place and the people who make it so special.
Thank you for the trust you have placed in me, the grace you have extended, and the many ways you have shared your lives with me. Prince of Peace will always hold a special place in my heart.
With gratitude and peace,
Kristin
Sincerely,
