Last day in Iringa
Today was our last day in Iringa. We had a chance to do some shopping and visited the Boma Museum which is housed in an old German hospital. The museum includes history of the area, cultural artifacts and interactive displays such as a bellows for iron work, and a mortar and pestle for grinding corn.
We bid farewell to John who is traveling to visit friends. After dinner we tackled the herculean task of packing up all the wonderful gifts we’ve received. We did it!
Tomorrow we head to Zanzibar.
