On Sunday, four confirmands were confirmed in God’s love and life again. My heart was filled with joy as I watched them. My thoughts turned to the song we sang. God, We Gather As Your People. It’s worth reading the words once more.

That they never have a reason to doubt that they are blest. May they, in your love, find rest.
Oh, may our hearts and minds be opened, fling the church doors open wide.
