Huruma Centre
This afternoon after our return from Ruaha, we had a chance to visit the Huruma Centre for Children, plus the new primary school on the Centre grounds. The children at the centre are orphaned or disadvantaged in other ways. The Centre provides food, shelter, education, security and caring!
We brought one of the soccer balls, and our driver Aiden helped us purchase 150 again (330 pounds) of rice using some of the funds raised at our Ice Cream Social. We received a tour, were treated to their singing and enjoyed some play time.
Dinner was at the always excellent Mama Iringa’s (Italian food), then back to the hotel to get ready for our Vikongwa visit! Time is flying!
