Prince of Peace is entering into a new chapter as we begin the process to call a new lead pastor. The first step in this process is forming a team to create a profile of the congregation.
The Ministry Site Exploration Team (MSET) will work to develop a Ministry Site Profile (MSP) which is the document used to describe our mission and search for a rostered minister. When completed, this document will be shared with the ELCA to begin Prince of Peace’s search for a new rostered pastor.
In order to complete the MSP, the MSET team will meet regularly over the next several months to discuss questions such as: Who are we as a congregation? What is special or unique about us? What makes Prince of Peace an attractive place for a new pastor? What are some of the qualities and skills we want to see in a new pastor for this congregation?
This group will also work with Jenna Sethi (Informed Change Consulting) to collect data from the congregation through listening sessions as surveys. Our goal is to ensure everyone at Prince of Peace has a voice in this process as we discern who we are and what we need in our next pastor.
If you feel called to join in this work please contact Michael Stetzler (mstetzler@gmail.com) or the Prince of Peace office (office@poproseville.org or 651-484-4144) before June 1.
