Ordinary People, Extraordinary Story
Welcome to this holy night, where we gather to celebrate the extraordinary story of Christ’s birth. In the quiet town of Bethlehem, among humble shepherds and a young couple with no place to stay, God entered the world in the most ordinary of ways. Yet through this child, everything changed—the hopes of the weary, the longings of the broken, and the future of all creation were transformed. Tonight, we remember that this extraordinary story is still unfolding, inviting us to receive the light of Christ into our own lives and share it with the world.
Worship at 3pm, 4:30pm, and 9pm
There will be three worship services featuring holy communion and candlelight. Each of the services will be similarly styled and patterned but the two earlier services will include elements also geared for younger children. The 3pm service will be live-streamed and available for viewing online anytime afterwards (see below).
Music
Each of the worship services will feature familiar Christmas hymns, including Silent Night. In addition…
- The Ericksen Family will lead music and offer an anthem at 3pm.
- Jenna Sethi will accompany music and offer anthems at 4:30pm.
- The Chancel Choir will offer anthems at 9pm.
Offering
10% of the offerings we receive on Christmas Eve will be shared with the Angel Fund, a partnership between Keystone Community Services and area faith communities which provides gap funding for families in Roseville needing assistance. Learn more about Keystone here.
