We headed out to Vikongwa this morning.   Vikongwa was a preaching point of Bomalang’ombe that became its own congregation in 2020.  Susan Seidel, the new BKB program coordinator,  came with us to experience a longer congregational stay.  We were greeted by Pastor Victory Nathanely Mdegela and members of the congregation.   We are staying at the home of Pastor Mdegela and his wife Lillian.  They have 1 year old twin girls.  Caryn scared them but Jim and Susan had better luck!

After time for lunch and organizing,  we visited the Mlandege preaching point.  This is a new preaching point since we last visited in 2019, and we were delighted to see an old friend, Abraham Nossa, who is a retired evangelist.  The evangelist for Mlandege is also the partnership chair and a teacher at the secondary school.  His wife is librarian at the school.  There was a lot of enthusiastic singing and dancing, and we shared the educational books and a soccer ball.

Tomorrow will be jam packed with two schools, two preaching points and several other meetings!

The rest of this afternoon we are relaxing and enjoying the amazing scenery!
