Day 3
We woke up around 7 and ate cereal for breakfast and packed a sandwich for lunch then started driving to A Precious Child. At A Precious Child, we split into groups and half of us went to the shop to work and half went to the warehouse. The people who went to the shop helped sort items such as shoes, clothing, and sports items. The other half was in the warehouse sorting donation items and getting items ready to go into the shop. After we finished at Precious Child we got in the car to go to Boulder for some very anticipated shopping. We ate our pre-packed lunch of sandwiches in the car on the way. When we got to Boulder we split off into smaller groups and walked around Pearl Street Mall. Some of the group went to the Boulder bookstore others went to an overpriced smoothie shop. While waiting for the other groups to finish shopping Julene took a much-needed nap. After shopping we drove back to the lodge. When we got back we had spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner and after we ate we had some free time before devotions where we read John 10: 1-10.
