What does it mean to be baptized into Christ? How has your identity as a beloved child of God shaped who you are? In what ways does the promise of baptism sustain you as you grow older?
When we meet on January 12th, we will have just heard the story in Sunday’s worship of Jesus’s baptism as recorded in the gospel of Matthew. At Seniors Supporting Seniors, you’re invited to share a story related to your baptism or the baptism of someone close to you – perhaps a child or grandchild. If you have something that represents the baptism, please bring it along to show the group! And if you don’t have a story to share or an item to show (or simply prefer not to), that’s okay! Come and be part of the conversation!
