People of all ages are invited to create Valentines for Soup for You.

What is Soup for You?
Soup for You provides lunch to people in South Minneapolis Monday through Friday.  Previously it was an indoor meal.  During the pandemic it has become a distribution of daily bag lunches.  Prince of Peace has been involved with Soup for You in multiple ways:  packaging homemade granola bars, funding for take out containers, and monetary donations.  Learn more here https://soupforyou.info/

How to Make Valentines

1.  Make Valentines using half a piece of cardstock or paper so they will fit in a lunch bag.  Cut paper in half so it is 5 1/2” x 8 ½”.  Fold in half so the card is 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.

2.  Decorate the front of the card however you’d like to.  Cut out hearts, use crayons, markers, paint or anything else you can think of.  Have fun and use your creativity!

3.  Write or glue words inside the card that say:  You are loved!  Happy Valentine’s Day.  From Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

4.  Sign your first name inside the cards.  Kids may also want to add their age.

5.  Return Valentines to church by Feb. 7.  They will be distributed with bag lunches at Soup for You for Valentines Day.
