Twenty-three poinsettia plants and the Congregation Christmas Greeting Hearts you signed were delivered to our home-bound members by the Befrienders. Thank you for signing the Christmas Greeting Hearts.
Many, many gifts were delivered to Plymouth Christian Youth Center in North Minneapolis for the Children’s Christmas Gift Sale. Prince of Peace folks were very generous with special gifts and toys and monetary gifts totaling $175.
Our Lyngblomsten Spirit of Giving collection of gift cards and monetary gifts totaled $390 and helped to assure that every resident of Lyngblomsten received a Christmas gift.
We dedicated 10% of our Christmas Eve offerings to Project Home, an agency that engages area faith communities to provide emergency shelter space and volunteer support for Ramsey County families facing homelessness. With the tithe from our offerings combined with additional support identified by the Congregation Council, we were able to $350 with Project Home.
