When I take a moment to step back and reflect, it’s clear we have made remarkable progress. Though, to paraphrase leadership guru Jim Collins, “getting the right people in the right seats on this bus” continues to be the primary challenge for me as your lead pastor.
As you may have heard by now, Prince of Peace is the recipient of a bequest from Rose Diestler’s estate. Rose was a beloved member of our church for many, many years and this is an exceptional act of generosity. Included in her bequest is her former home. The Congregation Council has created the Generosity Committee to recommend to the Council what to do with the home. The Committee desires to hear your ideas.
