Adult Forums offer learning and discussion about faith and life.
The Adult Forum meets on Sundays during the program year (September through May) during our Education Hour from 9:40am until 10:40am. Provocative and thoughtful conversations are intended to spark your imagination and help participants explore the full spectrum of faith and life. Guest speakers and featured presenters on a whole range of topics are scheduled and curated by the Adult Ed Committee. Often the topics are intended to compliment the stories that are explored in worship or others areas of our life together.
The schedule for upcoming topics can be found in the post to the right.
The Adult Ed Committee welcomes your participation in their planning process. Contact current chairperson Carol Swanson for more information or to share your ideas.
For Adult Forum, the social concerns committee and adult education committee will be hosting a discussion of the book Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond, on Sundays, May 5 and 12. The book tells the life stories of eight families in Milwaukee who live in poverty and strive to keep a roof over their heads, and the stories of their two landlords.read more
