The Promise of the Dawn
Is the light shining on the manger or emanating from it? Could it possibly be both? On this holy night, God’s glory is found in a stable and what lies there brings light to the whole world.

From the very beginning, God has been in pursuit of creation’s well-being. And though God has high expectations for us, we’re also our own worst enemies. God refuses to leave us on our own. We have been engulfed by darkness into which God is ready to shine a powerful light. During this season of Advent, we’re called to adjust our eyes to the light that is breaking in and to the glory about to shine all around.
