The Generosity Committee has been making steady progress on sorting through the details around Rose Diestler’s home and its contents. In addition, they’ve been doing considerable work to prepare for the larger challenge of discernment around the fuller gift of her estate.
As, the new president of the council, I have been thinking a lot on how best, we can move forward with strategic visioning for Prince of Peace. The top two priorities identified amongst all age cohorts in the survey, were related to growth. This is not surprising.
Representatives of Prince of Peace Church will be traveling to visit our brothers and sisters in Bomalang’ombe, Tanzania, in June, 2019. The Older Kids’ program will be with “Amy and Adams–a Married Couple Duo,” performing a blend of folk rock, Tin Pan Alley, and bluegrass. The couple plays guitar, ukulele, and mandolin. Make your reservation by May 6 for Thursday, May 9.
