Yesterday, we reflected on the story of Exodus 32:1-14, where God changes course in response to Moses’ intercession, choosing mercy over destruction. This powerful moment reminds us that God is not distant or unmoving but deeply involved in our lives. We are invited to embrace our identity as co-creators with God, actively participating in shaping the world.

Here are three practical actions to remain open to this co-creational relationship:

  1. Embrace the Power of Prayer: Just as Moses’ bold prayer changed the outcome for the Israelites, our prayers are acts of partnership with God. When we bring our deepest needs, concerns, and hopes to God, we open ourselves to divine transformation. Never underestimate the power of prayer to shape your life and the world around you.
  2. Take Action: Our choices and actions matter. The future isn’t fixed; God responds to our actions. Whether through small acts of kindness or larger efforts for justice, every step we take toward healing the world is part of God’s ongoing work.
  3. Trust in God’s Mercy: God’s willingness to change shows us that mercy is always available. No matter how far we’ve strayed, God is ready to offer grace and a path forward. Let us lean into that mercy, trusting in God’s continued guidance.

As co-creators with God, may we live in this dynamic partnership with faith, action, and trust.

May God’s peace find you today. -Pastor Peter

Let’s pray… Loving God, guide us as co-creators with you. Empower our prayers, inspire our actions, and help us trust your mercy in all things. Amen.
