Please note that daily devotions will be published Monday – Friday for this week only.

A congregation never stops wrestling with the question, “What must we hold on to and what needs to be changed.” As citizens we have many opportunities to vote, as we also have decisions to make as church members. This Sunday, October 1 at 12:00pm, will be one of those opportunities to vote for adding one more home to the present Tiny Home Settlement to be in compliance with the new Minnesota law which goes into effect Jan. 1, 2024.
The Campus Planning Task Force has been WRESTLING all spring and summer with how best to use our church properties. Now after many meetings, interviews, surveys and considerable research they are ready to present to our congregation the first of several decisions to be made by our congregation. Several handouts have been prepared so that you, our church members, can also wrestle with the facts to consider in your vote. Be sure to pick up and study the handouts and prepare yourself to vote this next Sunday at the congregational meeting – in person or on zoom.

Dear God, praise be to you for all that has been created for us to enjoy. Make us a living voice for Jesus Christ to be our light and shine in our hearts. May we never stop wrestling with opportunities to be resilient and compassionate. In Christ’s love, we pray. Amen
