You are invited to join a united front and shape Minnesota’s tomorrow.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of our state’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday celebration—one of the longest-running and largest in the nation. From Rochester to Red Lake, communities across Minnesota will gather to honor Dr. King’s enduring legacy and bring his vision to life in our neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and public spaces.
MLK Day Natural Resources Volunteer Event
City of Roseville
Monday, January 19; 9:30am-12:30pm
Join city staff and volunteer leaders on Martin Luther King Jr. Day for a morning of service followed by a complimentary brunch at Cedarholm Golf Course. Volunteers will meet at Materion Park for a dormant season seeding from 9:30-11:30, then proceed to the Community Building at Cedarholm for brunch and refreshments.

MLK Day honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and serves to encourage all to volunteer and serve others. Make a difference on this powerful day by joining other community members in volunteerism. Your involvement will contribute to meaningful change and promote the values of service and compassion. This event is free but with limited capacity.

FAMILIES, GROUPS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS ARE INVITED to join us in giving back to the community. Service projects, both onsite at Macalester Plymouth and off-site, will include work for Bridging, Living Well, Urban Village, Ronald McDonald House, Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul, and others!

Mark your calendars! The JUSTmove Party is back at Woodlake on January 18 from 2:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. Youth from all over the Twin Cities will come together for a justice themed party centered on being holy disruptors. All 6 – 9th grade youth and their friends, 10 – 12th graders are invited to participate as leaders.
