Last year me and my friend drove to Saint Paul to go to a Christmas concert at the Ordway Center. We found parking and started walking towards what we thought was the Ordway Center, but we were wrong. We ended up in a completely random building with restaurants and offices in it and looked all over the place for anything to do with the Ordway Center because Google Maps had directed us there.

We went up and down stairs and walked at a rapid pace because we were getting close to when the concert was supposed to start. Eventually found out with Google Maps that it was telling us that we had the address of the Ordway Center office typed in. We retyped in the new address of the Ordway Center and we bolted towards the Ordway Center. We found our seats five minutes before the concert was going to begin and tried to catch our breath. But in the end we made it just in time for the Christmas concert and enjoyed a great performance.

In the Bible Romans 5:2-3 says, “We boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance.” This experience has taught me that even though we face unexpected obstacles, we can overcome them through perseverance and in the end we can succeed.
