Wednesday, November 20; 7:00pm

Join the Reconciling in Christ team and PoP Rocks Youth Group for a prayer vigil in honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance on Wednesday, November 20th, at 7 p.m. We will have a short program including listing the names of people in the transgender community who lost their lives to violence or self-harm this past year.

Transgender Day of Remembrance was started in 1998 and stands as a day to recognize members of the transgender community who have been lost to violence. This is a time for us to stand together with the transgender community as allies and to educate ourselves about the challenges faced by transgender people. As part of our Reconciling with Christ journey, we affirm the sacredness of people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. We hope that you will join us for a time of prayer and remembrance and to lift up and celebrate God’s beloved transgender and LGBTQIA2+  children.
