To start our day, we all met at the church at 2:30 in the morning! We were finally ready to board the plane after driving to the airport, going through security, and finding our gate. After the first flight, Erika and Allie landed in Atlanta, and the rest of the group landed in Baltimore. For breakfast (that felt like lunch) we ate sushi and Subway sandwiches. Once we were done eating, we got ready to board our second flight, and shortly after, we landed in New Orleans! We got on a bus with other churches and were dropped off at our hotels. The hotel was full of other churches. We brought our stuff to our rooms and regrouped. We then headed to the food court at River Walk Outlet Mall and got chicken fingers from Canes. Sofie, Enna, and Allie got bracelets from a store at the mall and walked around for a bit. Once we were done shopping and eating, we stopped at Walgreens to buy breakfast cereal and some other snacks for the week. After that, we walked back to the hotel and got ready for Mass Gathering. When mass gathering was done, we walked back to the hotel, talked about our day, did devotions, and passed out the second we could, ready for more adventures today.
