The group woke up this morning to the smell of beignets for breakfast and enjoyed spending our last couple of minutes in our hotel together. We took a bus to the airport and checked in. And then we walked around for a bit until Erika and Allie split off to go to their gate while the rest of the group boarded their flight to Dallas. After landing the group decided to grab some lunch. Unfortunately, the group found out from Erika that her and Allie’s flight was cancelled after being delayed for a couple of hours. They were able to get a flight, but not till Sunday at 6pm. After getting a late lunch from many different restaurants, we found an empty gate to sit down and play many different card games, including Love Letter, which I’m convinced Micah made up because the rules make no sense. When we were done sitting around for 5 hours, we headed over to our gate on our journey on the way home, to be picked up from the airport by the Warkentien family.
