To me, being disruptive means using your voice to bring justice. When Jesus overturned the tables in the temple, he did it to restore the integrity and purpose of the House of God. In my life, disrupting injustice creates opportunities to make change and speak up for those in a position where they are unable to.
Over the last 8 months, the Israeli occupation of Gaza has become increasingly popular news around the world, causing over 2,000 protests by December in America alone. Because of the disruption created by supporters all over the world, over 900,000 (1) Palestinians were able to evacuate in a single week. The disruption brought by other countries allowed people in need to escape an incredibly violent war, which saved the lives of millions of women, men, and children.
