Have you noticed the construction zone in our west hallway?!
We’re renovating the classroom in between the common house & youth room to help make another element of the full-community model a reality for our sacred settlement. We hope to provide “purposeful work” for our neighbors, as they journey away from chronic homelessness and towards the vision that God has for this community.
The renovations to this room will create a multi-purpose space for Settled Workshops and our neighbors to keep making their wonderful creations while continuing to serve the needs of our church, with a large meeting table, children’s play space, and a cozy lounge area. New coat racks and benches will also give the hallway a new look as well.
Thank you to our dedicated volunteers who are helping to transform this space to best serve the needs of Prince of Peace and our Sacred Settlement.
