A Sacred Settlement Update

Just today, the snows have returned to lay a wintry blanket over our tiny houses. The beauty of what we see on the outside offers just a glimpse of the the beauty that is emerging on the inside. Wrapped in love, our settlement continues to transform.

Work continues as we prepare the newest home for occupation. We are so grateful for our partners at Settled and the teams of volunteers that continue to show up and take care of all the details. Our common spaces are also getting a refresh as we prepare to welcome a new neighbor. And we’re creating a space for a workshop to expand opportunities for neighbors and friends to build community through purposeful work, creating even more beauty in the process. Plans are also in development for when the snows are gone and the springtime will allow us to re-imagine the grounds around our tiny houses. What beautiful thing will be dreamt of next?

Invite a Friend and Join us for the Community Dinner

Sunday, February 18, 5:30-7pm

We continue to gather on the third Sunday of each month to share a meal, trade stories, and to celebrate all that God is doing in and through our Sacred Settlement. This is the perfect time and place to bring along someone who might be curious to learn more about our Sacred Settlement and the full-community approach to addressing chronic homelessness.

Our Community Dinners are a pot-luck with the main course and beverages provided, so bring a dish to share if you’re able. Or not – it’s ok. Just come – there’s always plenty. Come hear stories of real transformation and celebrate all that God is making possible.
