There is so much wonderful Christmas music. Even with our special Christmas services in December, including Lessons and Carols and Christmas Eve, I can’t seem to get in all the Christmas music I’d like to play. So I thought of reviving an idea from a past church of mine-Noel at Noon. On Monday, December 6 of 2023, Prince of Peace had its first, and hopefully not last, Noel at Noon. People had a delicious soup lunch at Noon, and afterwards went into the sanctuary for a short Christmas recital. With so much talent to draw from at PoP, it was no problem providing good music. Kathy and Scott Tunseth sang, and Debbie Jorgens and I played the keyboards. It was well received, and I hope is the start of a warm Christmas tradition at Prince of Peace!
