Day 7
Today we woke up early to pack and leave Abiding Hope Church. We spent most of the day driving and originally planned on stopping at Mcdonald’s quickly and then going on a hike. Unfortunately, our plans changed when one of the vans got stuck in traffic for an hour and a half and we didn’t get to go on a hike. After that, we spent around 3 hours on the road and then stopped at a gas station quickly in Nebraska. After another 2 hours on the road, we stopped at Raising Canes quick for dinner and made it to First Lutheran Church just in time for their worship service. After worship, we got to have free time. Some people hung out at the church but, Allie, Teruni, Micah, and Wes went to the park down the road to play in the kids’ splash park. We finished the night devotions, the final “I am” statement – I am the true vine, John 15:1. After devotions, we played games together before bed. Thank you so much for making this trip possible, it’s been an awesome week.
