In partnership with the city, we have been working on removing the invasive species buckthorn from our property. The city has agreed to come pick up and chip the large pile of current buckthorn that is lining the side of the lower parking lot, but before they do, we would like to get even more removed. We need your help! On Thursday, October 21st from 9-12 am we will be removing another round of buckthorn. Sturdy shoes and work gloves are recommended. All ages welcome. Youth – this is a great opportunity for volunteer hours during MEA weekend! If you have any questions about the removal, you can contact Julene at julene@poproseville.org.
