Mindy Greiling was Roseville’s State Representative in the Minnesota House of Representatives for twenty years. In his early twenties, Mindy’s son, Jim, was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder after experiencing delusions that demanded he kill his mother. At the time, and for more than a decade after, Greiling struggled, along with her husband, to navigate and improve the state’s inadequate mental health system. Fix What You Can is an illuminating and frank account of caring for a person with a mental illness, told by a parent and advocate. For more info please visit https://mindygreiling.org.
On Jan 27, author Mindy Greiling and her son Jim Greiling will be joining our conversation. On February 10, members Kyle and Joe Zwack, who are featured in the book, will be joining our conversation.
