Women’s bible study circles will be using a new bible study series January through May – on the Gospel of John. This study is printed in the churchwide women’s magazine GATHER. The study looks at unexpected encounters with Jesus.
The January study, “Come and See: Seeking and Finding Faith” using three scriptures:
John 1:19 – 51 The Calling of the Disciples
John 2:1 – 12 Wedding at Cana
John 2:13 – 25 The Temple Incident

The magazine of Women of the ELCA “Gather” is used by the Circles for the studies. This magazine offers a mix of articles, theological reflections, devotions and stories of comfort and challenge that help readers grow in faith and engage in ministry and action.
