After months of struggling to find consistent help to keep our nursery staffed on Sunday mornings, Prince of Peace has decided to partner with College Sitters to provide qualified personnel to provide care for our youngest members.  After several consultations with Cassandra Pieri, General Manager of this St. Paul-based child care provider, Pastor Peter determined this would be a great way to continue offering a nursery ministry on Sundays and overcome the on-going challenge of recruiting and placing qualified candidates in this role.

Prince of Peace’s New Nursery Provider

Founded in the Twin Cities, College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors is the nation’s most respected, complete and professional resource helping busy families raise smart, confident, well-adjusted kids. Since 2001 they have built local professional teams across the country who’ve helped hundreds of busy parents carve out time for themselves with a sitter, have help on hand with a part-time or full-time nanny, or get their college bound student the tutoring they need to succeed.  Recognizing that many churches like Prince of Peace operate a nursery but may not have a consistent pool of qualified staff to draw upon, College Sitters began making their resources available to communities of faith like ours.

Two new attendants will alternate weeks in our nursery.  The nursery will be staffed each Sunday from 8:15am until 12:00pm.  Take a moment to learn a little more about them and then stop by on Sunday mornings with a word of welcome to Prince of Peace.
