Prince of Peace is in a covenant relationship with Bomalang’ombe Lutheran Church in Tanzania. This relationship is part of the larger Bega kwa Bega (Shoulder to Shoulder) relationship between the St. Paul Area Synod and the Iringa Diocese in Tanzania. The three pillars of the relationship are Prayer, Presence and Projects. In September we have the opportunity to experience all three pillars as we send a delegation of ambassadors off to visit our brothers and sisters in Tanzania! Prince of Peace has been visiting Bomalang’ombe since 2002. We will have a chance to worship with them, share ideas, learn more about our joint projects and strengthen our relationship with them.We will also have a chance to explore Iringa, appreciate God’s creation with a trip to Ruaha National Park and experience the beauty of the ocean and the sobering history of the slave trade in Bagamoyo.
God be with you on this next trip to help those who appreciate your work so very much.
