Older Kids’ luncheon is Thursday, November 8, beginning at 11:30 social hour, luncheon at noon, and followed by professional singer Mary Hall, accomplished guitarist and songwriter.
Women’s Circles in November
Join any of our four women’s bible study circles for spiritual growth, as well as being a part of a group which encourages and supports each other. For November Bible Study, the lesson topic is “Turning as the church to the world.” Listed is the information for each circle. You can find one that is convenient to your time schedule and call the hostess for directions or for more information.
A Service for Healing & Reflection
A Service for Healing & Reflection will be held Sunday, Nov. 4, at 5 p.m., in the sanctuary. Pastor Ruth Sorenson-Prokosch will lead a time for quiet reflection, readings, prayers and the opportunity to receive a blessing.
Pastor Ruth: A Month for Reflection
November is a month that is bookended by All Saints and Thanksgiving, giving us time to remember and give thanks, practices that are important to our faith lives. We take time to remember that we do not do this life of faith alone. We are given a gift of being companions to one another and for that we rejoice and give thanks.
Conversation & Prayer with Pastor Ruth
Pastor Ruth Sorenson-Prokosch hosts a Conversation and Prayer session for those interested in discussing honoring the survivors of sexual violence. In the library, Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 6:30 p.m.
Spooky Music Concert Oct. 24
An evening of fun for all ages! A festive community dinner, games and a program featuring an organ concert, children’s story and all-saints commemoration. Trick-or-treating will follow so come in costume!
