Saturday, December 14; 10:00 – 11:30am @ Johanna Shores
We will be having our December meeting, from 10:00–11:30am on Saturday, December 14, in the Terrace Club Lounge, at Johanna Shores where Paul Sponheim resides.
Come a few minutes early to get settled with your cup of coffee and treat. (And we will honor our closing time, 11:30am.)
We will discuss pages 1-64 in Jay McDaniel’s What Is Process Thought? That is the first half of the book. We will discuss the rest in January, pages 67-117, with the emphasis on the Epilogue—What Is Process Theology?
I’m sure we all agree that for us, the theology part is what is what we look forward to discussing most, but this first December discussion will help us understand the underlying metaphysics, the fundamental nature of reality.
So bring your insights, your questions and confusions, and as a group we can learn together. It’s an adventure.
We will bring a few suggestions for future discussion that are theological or biblically based. If you have suggestions as well, please share.
Johanna Shores is on Fairview Ave North, just north of County Road D West – 3200 Lake Johanna Blvd, Arden Hills.
